Drink Red Bull and Win RM 250,000

Red Bull, an energy drink often associated with dynamism and ardour, introduced its ‘Start Right, Charge Ahead’ campaign and announced a corresponding consumer contest, with cash prizes of up to RM250,000 for grabs. Through the campaign, Red Bull hopes to redefine the consumption method of its history-rich energy drink; at the same time, empower consumers to realise their full potential for any task they undertake.

Jate Samathivathanachai, Director of Strategy at Allexcel Trading Sdn. Bhd. said: “When Red Bull began in Thailand in 1975, the brand’s motivation was to create a beverage for those who worked long hours to help revitalise their bodies and mind. Over the years, we’ve continued to drive Red Bull as the energy drink of choice for those who need a burst of energy for both work and play. With 2018 dawning, we wanted to elucidate that while Red Bull can be/is consumed for energy replenishment, consumption can also and should occur pre-activity. What better way to communicate this point than through our new campaign – ‘Start Right, Charge Ahead’!”

Get Set, Ready, and Go with Pre-Activity Fuel
Red Bull endeavours to redefine the most effective consumption manner of its energy drink through the campaign, which is based on the premise that if one starts each activity right, one would find the mental and physical energy to face challenges that may come one’s way and successfully overcome them. Red Bull’s synergy of 11 ingredients results in the brand leading the way in its sector.

“Our high quality ingredients are the very elements that provide fuel to the drinker. Oftentimes, consumers see us as the beverage of choice when they need energy to plough through the day, but little do they know that Red Bull should, in fact, be consumed before the start of any activity – be it work, sports, studying or driving – so they start the day with the right fuel to perform optimally at any task,” Samathivathanachai explained.

Top Malaysia YouTuber Shows Consumers How to Generate Pre-Activity Fuel
An average person’s day-to-day life encompasses work, sports, studies and driving, among other activities. While these activities are routine in nature, they require a sustained level of concentration and can drain one mentally and physically.

As such, consuming Red Bull prior to one’s numerous activities will set a productive starting point for that occassion. The leading energy beverage brand recently collaborated with Kyopropaganda, one of Malaysia’s top YouTubers, to exemplify the most effective way to consume Red Bull. ‘Start Right, Charge Ahead’ to Win RM250,000
In conjunction with its ‘Start Right, Charge Ahead’ campaign, Red Bull announced a nationwide consumer contest, with total cash prizes of up to RM250,000 to be won. To participate, consumers only need to buy two Red Bull products; keep the original receipt and the pull tabs; and answer ‘true’ or ‘false’ to a question on the entry form. They will then need to submit their entries through one of four available channels: hardcopy contest form; SMS; WhatsApp; or the Red Bull Contest Website.

The contest will reward 900 weekly winners with RM200 each; two second prize winners with a cash prize of RM5,000 per person; one first prize winner who will receive RM10,000; and a grand prize winner who will take home RM50,000. The final submission date for the contest is Sunday, 31 December 2017.

Red Bull is available at all major convenience stores, petrol marts, independent grocers, supermarkets and hypermarkets at a recommended retail price of RM 3.10 for the original and 25% less sugar canned variants and RM 1.80 for the bottled variant.

It's school holidays this November and kids going back to school soon for classes. Little one is growing fast, next year he will be Standard One. His brother Sean is going to be 12 years old that's Standard Six. Busy year ahead of them, thanks to invitation my children can spend their first school holidays at Sleep with Sharks at aquariaKLCC. Indeed a good experience for them, good to know from aquariaKLCC staff that told my wife that Sean is taking good care of his little brother. Good bonding time for both brothers and learning together on sea animal and ocean life. The video above is last Saturday where the children will be overnight at aquariaKLCC for the Sleep with Sharks. There's briefing in the morning after that parents leave and children follow the guidance of the aquariaKLCC staff and enjoy their programmed.

“The Scott’s Bright Little Explorers programme is an ongoing project which aims to stimulate children’s curiosity and support children’s development through on - ground educational activities. It has been reported that humanity has only explored less than 5% of the entire ocean to date1 and we believe that aquariaKLCC will spark the curiosity of our children to learn more about the underwater world and its inhabitants, ” said Venaig Jegou, Area Marketing Director, Oral Health and Nutrition, South East Asia, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare.

“In addition, the rare opportunity of staying overnight at aquariaKLCC

The overnight event the children participating in various educational activities, including live feeding sessions with sharks, sea otters, and piranhas, meeting the aquariaKLCC divers, as well as learning more about the underwater world.
Good time with parents and kids to know of the sea animal in the aquariaKLCC and there's guide in the aquariaKLCC one hour tour to see so many types of sea animals. Not all of the pool can put your hands inside, so you got to beware and always look at the sign. Education is important for children and we know that we never stop learning, it's good to give them time out for outdoor activities.

It's a nice event for the kids to take part, it's first time my children left home and overnight at aquariaKLCC. Thanks to my wife for sending them to go together as I am not available at that time. They took Putra LRT to go KLCC, with the public transport available today we can easily access to the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Breast Cancer in Men - it happens

Being a dad, we have busy lifestyle too and we also need to know of health. Today sharing with you about the breast cancer in men - it happens. Breast cancer can serious need to discover it early and better be alert of our body too. According to the National Cancer Institute Malaysia, about 5,000 Malaysian women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year, and nearly half of those are under 50-years of age, but it affects men too.

Here are things you may not know about breast cancer in men:

1. 1 out 1,000 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in Malaysia

2. Less than 72% of men recover from the disease as doctor’s visit is made when symptoms are more severe however symptoms of breast cancer in men and women are quite alike.

3. Most male breast cancers are diagnosed when a man discovers a lump on his chest. But unlike women, men tend to delay going to the doctor until they have more severe symptoms, like bleeding from the nipple. At that point, the cancer may have already spread

4. Because men have very little breast tissue, it is easier for men and their health care professionals to feel small masses (tumours). On the other hand, because men have so little breast tissue, cancers do not need to grow very far to reach the nipple, the skin covering the breast, or the muscles underneath the breast.

5. So even though breast cancers in men tend to be slightly smaller than in women when they are first found, they more often have already spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes. The extent of spread is one of the most important factors in the prognosis (outcome) of a breast cancer.

The American Cancer Society cites the lack of awareness of breast cancer in men and therefore the limited knowledge in breast health and self-breast examination as the key issues impeding the early detection of breast cancer. Some men are also embarrassed when they find a breast lump and worry that someone might question their masculinity. This could also delay diagnosis and reduce a man's chances for successful treatment.

One of the key measures to nipping breast cancer early for higher chances of a full- recovery is to understand breast health and learn the how to perform self- examination for early detection.

Let's take note of this and beware of our surroundings and loved ones too. Sharing is caring, happy to have share this awareness with everyone.

Dr. Tan Gie Hooi, Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon, Tropicana Medical Centre who had the support of male model, Najib.

By the way, the Neubodi Bra Drive 2017, which was launched in conjunction with the International Breast Cancer month, aims to raise awareness on breast cancer being gender blind. Collaborating with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA), one of the highlights to official launch at 1Utama is the teaching of breast self-examination (BSE) demonstrated to the public by
Dr. Tan Gie Hooi, Breast and Oncoplastic Surgeon, Tropicana Medical Centre who had the support of male model, Najib.

What is interesting is that BSE steps are the same between men and women, and you too can learn them from BCWA’s resource: How to do BSE? The look and feel techniques.

Head over the BCWA’s website to learn more about breast health and be breast aware and encourage your wife and female friends to do the same. Let’s work together to tackle breast cancer!

In the meantime, a quick shout out to the ladies out there and gentleman too: Let your sisters, mom or wife to know that they can bin their unwanted or unused bras at any Neubodi outlets nationwide, its famous pink Bra Bins are back and is available until 5th November!

Kids Tour Guide Johan Speaking Academy

Good day to everyone, it's been a busy week. Just sharing with you last weekend how I spend my Sunday. It's a wonderful Sunday as there's no rain so we didn't get wet and have a pleasant day in Farm In The City. Sean enjoyed being a Kids Tour Guide, you can click the link to read his blog post.

To balance life of kids, education and tuition and other activities. It's good to give Sean to enroll the Kids Tour Guide program with Johan Speaking Academy. Johan Speaking Academy is where you can find benefits of public speaking skills:

  • Build self confidence
  • Build self esteem
  • Improves verbal communication skills
  • Increase vocabulary
  • Improves information processing
  • Helps children organize their thoughts
  • Promotes interpersonal skills
  • Increases comprehension
  • Give child a sense of empowerment
  • Diction/Pronunciation/Articulation
The chance of public speaking in school is very less. I am happy that my son has a great time with the program at Johan Speaking Academy.
Kids Tour Guide, they are put to group. A group 4 person and they each has a task to do. For example the type of turtle that they need to talk about. So they need to get to know the type of turtle and their habitat. This is good program for the kids as they get to know about the animal and they speak up about the type of animal that they like too.

From this Kids Tour Guide, I get to know my son's two favourite animal that is shark and ostrich. His ambition is to be IT Manager. It is his first time to go outdoor for kids public speaking and I am proud of him. It's the day he become the kids tour guide helping the tourists to understand better about the animal in the Farm of the City.

After Kids Tour Guide, they continue having good time at Farm in the City, feeding the racoon and to the pet village to catch drain fishes. You can see more photo by visit the Facebook Page album, click on it to view.
The Kids Tour Guide is good experience for Sean and it's a good time for us spend family time together. Great outdoor experience and I look forward for more kids public speaking with Johan Speaking Academy.

The Kids Tour Guide, the children that took part was aged 8 years old to 13 years old. After the Kids Public Speaking, each of them is present certificate of attendance of Johan Speaking Academy and certificate of Farm In The City.
